Harry's Southside (formerly Southside Social and The Meadow Bar) have been completely refurbished for 2018. It's the first social enterprise pub in Edinburgh and over the years it's been a favourite hang out for Fringe-goers and performers late into the night, and it's new incarnation feels much the same, and much expanded. There's a big selection of drinks, friendly staff and atmosphere, and the venue is close to the Counting House, Udderbelly, Assembly, Gilded Balloon and the Pleasance Dome. The aim of the pub is to help Edinburgh’s young people into sustainable work, by providing them with the skills and experience to pursue a career in the hospitality business.
