We're back for another year, our 12th year at the Edinburgh Fringe, with another massive programme of Free shows, that are all part of Edinburgh's Fringe Festival.... This year our shows run for a whopping four weeks, with  shows running from August 1st to 30th - the first five days is a brand new Children's festival the the Free Sisters venue, to tie in with the School Holidays.

Use the calendar and search tools to the left to have a look through our programme featuring some top names in Comedy, Theatre, Cabaret, Children's shows, Music and much more rocking Edinburgh for those four weeks, plus of course the very best we can find in new talent. And of course, it's all for free - though our shows will ask for a donation at the end!

In 2014 our shows and performers won: Three Weeks and Malcolm Hardee awards - and where nominated for The Edinburgh Comedy Awards, Barry Awards, Skinny Comedy Awards and Total Theatre Awards - an amazing recognition of our programming.... and we hope to do just as well in 2015.  .

We also had a hugely critically acclaimed Fringe last year, with over 50 five star reviewed shows and 140 four star reviewed shows - which proves our free shows are a sign of top quality Fringe shows, while we let performers and audiences experience the freedom of the Fringe, with a chance to experiment and enjoy. Just what the Fringe should be!

Do check out our programme, and keep an eye on our news and reviews page right the way through the Fringe, to see what the latest news and best reviews of our shows are.

Performers - We have two late extra venues, so still have availability for shows. If you would still like to bring a show to the fringe contact us on admin@laughinghorse.co.uk

Running The Free Festival costs a lot of money... some of this money is recouped through sponsorship, advertising and our comedy courses... If you would like to contribute and help keep the venues free for acts and audiences, please click button above
